The Integration of Energy Crops in Agriculture Workshops is organized within the LogistEC project which aims to develop new or improved technologies of the biomass logistics chains. Cost-efficient, environmental-friendly and socially sustainable biomass supply chains are needed to achieve the 2020 EU RES targets that might be impeded by the potential scarcity of lignocellulosic biomass from agriculture.

Workshop will evaluate to which conditions energy crops would be integrated in agriculture, with proposals to policy makers, at regional, national and European level.

The findings of this workshop will be reported in a factsheet that will be first circulated to attendees for validation, and then widely disseminated in Europe by all partners, and on the project web site. The factsheet will focus on the guidelines for a good integration of energy crops by the agriculture stakeholders. This workshop will also be used to disseminate the results of the project gained so far and to get stakeholders' feedback on these results.

The integration of Energy Crops in Agriculture Workshop will be specifically targeting EU and national policy makers, project partners, companies active in energy crops business and relevant EU networks and associations.

Participation to this workshop is free of charge.
