The Integration of Energy Crops in Agriculture Workshops is organized within the LogistEC project which aims to develop new or improved technologies of the biomass logistics chains. Cost-efficient, environmental-friendly and socially sustainable biomass supply chains are needed to achieve the 2020 EU RES targets that might be impeded by the potential scarcity of lignocellulosic biomass from agriculture.

SUPERGEN bionergy hub researchers based at Rothamsted research are holding a demonstration event on Wednesday 4th of February at Sutton Grange Farm.

The 5th ROKWOOD meeting took place in Mullingar / Ireland from the 11th to the 13th November 2014.

The meeting included an information seminar and networking session with the Midlands Growers Groups and an intersting site visit tour within the Midlands Region.
